League puts best foot forward  at MLK March

By KATHY HILL

Your San Antonio League joined the anticipated 300,000 walking in San Antonio’s Martin Luther King Day March, one of the largest in the nation. It seemed even the weather decided the day was too important to spoil; freezing temperatures didn’t arrive until the next day.)

Wearing our sashes and carrying our banner, we got lots of love from fellow walkers and people watching along the 2.75-mile route. It was an exhilarating experience, and one we look forward to growing as a San Antonio League tradition each year.

Enjoy the slideshow, and come with us next year!
