Please join us to celebrate YOU on January 11, 2025, from 1 to 3PM at the League of Women Voters of the San Antonio Area’s Membership and Volunteer Appreciation Event. Our members and volunteers are the heart of the League of Women Voters of the San Antonio Area, and we want to make sure you know how important you are to the LWVSA’s mission.
We are excited once again to have the winners of the League’s Youth Contest joining us and reciting their submissions to this year’s prompt Voting Decisions: What Matters to You? Please help us celebrate these amazing students who are focused on the future of our democracy.
Yvonne Pelayo, LWVSA President, will highlight the League’s accomplishments this past election cycle and discuss what is next for the League. We would also like to hear from you so we will have time for your observations and questions. Refreshments will be served and there will be time to socialize with other League members and volunteers. So please join us for what will be an insightful and fun afternoon.
