League Shines Spotlight on Molly Neck

After graduation, I was awarded a Congressional Hunger Fellowship and spent six months doing direct community work in Idaho before moving to Washington, D.C. There I joined the National Coalition for the Homeless, serving as National Policy Director, working to shape federal policies that addressed the root causes of homelessness and advocating for systemic change.
I attended St. Mary's University School of Law, serving on Law Review while doing legal aid and immigration advocacy work. In the years that I have called San Antonio home, I have served on the board of San Antonio Habitat for Humanity, currently serve as vice president of my neighborhood association, mentored a young girl in foster care, and practiced law.
When not caring for eccentric pets or tending plants, I am reading, enjoying live music, or finding new ways to build community. As a lifelong Texan and political junkie, I've relied on the League of Women Voters Guide for years to make informed decisions. I am thrilled to now contribute to its creation by leading the committee that drafted this year's candidate questions and learning the ins and outs of Vote411. I look forward to continuing the League's vital mission of empowering voters and defending democracy.
