We are gearing up production for our VOTE411 and printed Voters Guides in English, Spanish and Arabic for the May 3 municipal elections. More than 15 candidates are running for San Antonio Mayor, and all 10 City Council races have several candidates each. The Alamo Colleges will also have a bond issue election.
The municipal elections tend to have low turnout – the three most recent ones averaged less than 15% of registered voters — but they have more immediate impact on your daily life than any other election. You can expect to see VOTE411 and printed Voters Guides in the first week of April. It’s up to you to be informed about the candidates and their ideas on issues important to you – and spread the word to everyone you know!
