Voter Registration and Education Tabling Event
- LWVSA members will come to your campus individually or as part of a campus activity.
- Ideal location for set up is in high student traffic zones such as in the student center and during times of high student activity.
- Sessions are usually more successful when a student volunteer joins the LWVSA members to help encourage fellow students to stop and learn more
- LWVSA will offer purely non-partisan voting information with a goal toward educating and motivating young people to become voters for life.
- Materials available for students include
- Voter registration forms
- Voting machine so students can practice voting
- Information about what documentation/IDs are needed to be a voter and how to procure an ID if needed
- Information on what is on the upcoming ballot (Vote411.org)
- Information about how to volunteer to be part of the voting process (work at Elections Office, work at polls)

- How to Register and Vote When in College
If you would like to schedule a LWVSA tabling session at your school, please send an email with the following information:
- At least two proposed dates.
- Any particular area of emphasis you would like LWVSA members to highlight.
- Name, phone, and email for primary point of contact.
- If LWVSA volunteers need to complete background checks before coming to campus please provide what is needed to complete that process.
Note: Schools are asked to provide two 6-ft tables, two chairs, and access to an electrical outlet for the voting machine.
