Legislative Interviews
The election is over, and it's time to think about the 88th Legislative session. Legislative interviews are a great way to introduce or reintroduce the League to legislators, especially new legislators. The intent of these interviews is not to lobby, but to listen and find out what their priorities are. It is an opportunity for League members to meet with their representatives and query them directly as to where they stand on the issues of interest to the League. Training will be provided. Save the Date for Lobby Days!
Lobby Days will be coming up Feb 27th-28th, 2023. Monday, Feb. 27th will include training during the day and the Women Power Texas ~ A Making Democracy Work Dinner in the evening, and Tuesday, Feb 28th will be advocacy and meeting with legislators at the Capitol. Details to follow.
