Volunteer aids new citizen to register to vote
The Community Outreach Committee is gearing up for the spring election cycle.

For the Community Outreach Committee to include voter registration as a service to the Bexar County Community, all Bexar County Volunteer Deputy Registrars must be recertified. ALL VDR Certificates expire on December 31, 2022. Volunteers must recertify prior to registering any voters in Bexar County.

To complete the training and get recertified quickly, complete the online training and take your VDR exam to the Bexar County Elections office for grading.

The test can be printed and brought to the Bexar County Elections Office, 1103 S. Frio, to be graded, or the test can be taken at the elections office.

For volunteers available to assist with the January 6, 2023 Naturalization Ceremonies, LWVSA has been informed that League volunteers can bring the tests on January 4th and 5th so that certified VDRs will be available for the naturalization ceremonies on January 6th. To volunteer for the January 6th Naturalization ceremonies, go to the volunteer registration site.

Additional opportunities to recertify as a VDR, either in person and via Zoom, are available at the Bexar County Elections website.
