The San Antonio Municipal Election is almost here – early voting starts April 24, and election day is Saturday, May 6. The Voters Guide and VOTE411 are getting ready to show you what candidates have to say in their own words so voters can make informed choices, selecting candidates whose ideas most closely align with their own.

VOTE411.org will be online April 3, and the Voters Guide will be in public libraries around April 8. It is also distributed by many organizations, so if you belong to one check and see if they have them.

The Voters Guide has voting and election information and the Texas Voters Bill of Rights, as well as answers to our questions about issues from candidates in their own words. VOTE411 offers answers to more questions and can include late responses.

If you want to see answers from a candidate that has not responded, there are two things you can do:

  • Check VOTE411, which can take responses right up to election day; or
  • Contact the candidate and tell them you are disappointed that they did not respond and that you would like to see them participate. You will likely find candidate contact information by searching their name to find a website or social media. You can also see their candidate filing papers, which may have contact information, on the San Antonio city website.
