Welcome Three New Board Members: Nicole Lehmann, Margaret Kanyusik, and Janet Scott

Three members joined the LWVSA board this past month. They will be involved with Youth Initiative leading the Youth Voter Outreach Committee.
Nicole Lehmann recently retired from teaching and has been volunteering for the League at the Naturalization ceremonies and other community outreach events. Thanks to her mother's dedication to LWV, Nicole has developed a keen interest in encouraging people to participate in their right and civic duty to vote.
Margaret Kanyusik has served on non-profit boards in San Antonio. Margaret (retired) worked for almost 20 years for the government in the US and abroad. She recently helped bring practice voting machines to area college campuses and public libraries in collaboration with LWV to take the mystery out of the voting process for new voters.
Janet Scott has served on the League's Membership committee and currently volunteers at the Naturalization Ceremonies. She retired in 2019 after working for 19 years as the Director of Student Teaching at the University of Texas at San Antonio, College of Education and Human Development.
