Learn About the Appraisal District Election

The May 4 election will be here before you know it, and it includes, for the first time, three countywide races for positions on the Bexar Appraisal District board. The November proposition that reduced property tax bills included the requirement to add three elected positions to the five appointed ones in large counties. Information is now available on Vote411 and by stopping by your local public library.

Community Outreach Volunteers Needed!

Community Outreach is active in connecting with voters at a variety of events including community health fairs, Senior Centers, colleges and universities, community festivals and more! Join us in assisting voters register, get information and make a plan to vote. Volunteer opportunities are listed on the LWVSA.ORG calendar of events with links to the volunteer sign up. You will always be paired with an experienced volunteer at events.

Would you like a free reusable yard sign letting people know about Vote411.org, our online voters guide?

Vote411.org yard signs will be available prior to the November election for those interested in promoting this nonpartisan resource for voters. If you are interested in securing a free yard sign for display prior to the November election, provide your name and email here. Yard signs will be in English and in Spanish. We will send out information to those interested on when and where to pick up the yard signs. You can also pick it up at the Annual Meeting on May 18th.
